Cardboard Ferris Wheel

Introduction: Cardboard Ferris Wheel

About: Hello, I’m Robsterlog and I love crafting with cardboard and other materials.

What is looks like

Step 1: Cut Strips

You will need 8 of these to be the legs that hold up the wheel

Step 2: Step 2

The long strips will go on the side of the wheel, and the circles will go on the hub.

Step 3: Step 3

Cut the circles out and then cut a ring out of the middle, these will be your wheels

Step 4: Step 4

Cut out 24 thin, small strips, then thicker, about 8 inch long strips. Next cut out 12 2by2 squares and start assembly of the cars.

Step 5: Step 5

Attach roofs to the cars

Step 6: Step 6

Attach the long strips to the wheels. Then attach the hubs to the middle pole. Then attach the circle with the hole in it to the legs and put it onto the middle pole after the wheel is on.

Step 7: Step 7

Attach cars to the wheel.

Step 8: Step 8

Hi, this looks really kewl, but you haven't put any measurements of the strips for the wheel, or shown How to attach the cars to the wheel.. Would you please elaborate on these as this could be fun to make :)

The strips for the wheels are about 15 inches long and 3/4 inches thick. You attach the card by putting thinner strips across each wheel. Thanks for the questions, I’m sure they will help others in the future.
