Introduction: Cardboard & Hot Glue Headphone Stand Prototype

Hello, Today I am going to show you how I am going to make my prototype headphone stand for a project I will do later called Epoxy "Sandwich" Headphone Stand. I hope you learn a lot and enjoy this instructable!

Supplies

  • cardboard
  • hot glue gun
  • hot glue sticks (4 dependant on size)
  • scissors
  • a pencil

Step 1: Draw Out Your Templates

print out (or draw by eye) the two templates and transcribe them on to cardboard.

Step 2: Cut Out the Templates

Step 3: Glue Together the Foundation/Storage Box Part 1

Glue together our storage box as shown above so that it looks like a rectangular box with the top and one side missing.

Step 4: Glue Together the Foundation/Storage Box Part 2

Glue on the top piece so that the box looks complete but with a side missing. You have now completed the storage box.

Step 5: Glue the Arms on

Glue the arms on at the center of the box about one inch apart. You may notice that the arms are leaning inward we will fix this in the next step.

Step 6: Add Some Support Part 1

Add a single one inch wide piece of cardboard to the tops of the arms as pictured above.

Step 7: Add Some Support Part 1

add more supports around the arms so that the two arms look like one arm.

Step 8: You're Finished!

I hope you enjoyed this instructable and make sure to look out for my next instructable, Epoxy Sandwich Headphone Stand!
