Introduction: Cardboard Kingfisher
Making this cardboard kingfisher is easy and simple as well! And the fact is you can make a cardboard version of all bird species! I am convinced that everybody can make cardboard birds. Have fun with it!
Step 1: Step1: What Do You Need?
You need the following items:
- a pair of scissors

Step 2: Step 2: Cut Out the Pattern
The only thing you need to do in this step is cutting out the four pieces you find in the pattern.
Step 3: Step 3: Making the Carboard Pieces
In the previous step we cut out the four pieces of paper. Now you need to overlay the pattern on the cardboard. Then you need to cut out the cardboard pieces. The cut-outs to insert the other parts must be as wide as the thickness of the cardboard. So you need to adjust it yourself.
Step 4: Step 4: the Final Step
In the last step you have to slide the four pieces of carboard together. Is rather simple, like the whole project!
Step 5: Making Other Birds
As you have already read in the intro you can make a cardboard version of all bird species! I made as example a blackbird and a sparrow. You can also make this birds from wood. Soon I will write an instructable about a wooden owl I made.
