Introduction: Carrick Bend Lanyard

This lanyard/zipper pull is based on the carririck bend.

Step 1:

Make an overhand loop. This willl serve as the loop for the lanyard.

Step 2:

Make a smaller loop to the right.

Step 3:

Bring the left hand end under the right.

Step 4:

And continue over, under, over. The carrick bend is complete.

Step 5:

Tighten.

Step 6:

Fold bights A and B to the left while pulling on the ends.

Step 7:

Tighten

Step 8:

Finished knot.
