Caterpillar on a Mushroom

Introduction: Caterpillar on a Mushroom

About: I am a domestic engineer, aka. a stay at home Mom. A former science geek, scenic carpenter, and quilter.

This is an amigurumi caterpillar on a mushroom with a hookah, inspired by Alice in Wonderland. The whole thing is crocheted with yarn, and filled with fiber fill.

This is such a cute crochet project! Well done :) Sadly one has to be a paid member to download your pattern. With my disability pension I'm unable to afford this.

I'm new to this site, and the sole reason I became a member is because of THIS mushroom design - my 16 year old daughter would kill/die for me to make her one of these.  Any way to construct a pattern out of what you did? It's truly amazing!

    This is awesome!
Your original design, or from a pattern?

I just made it up as I went along. I was just going to make a mushroom, but my husband told me it should have a caterpillar with a hookah. I googled some images from Alice in Wonderland for reference.

Freehanding crafts makes for some amusing results, often.

    Well done!

    Very nice :D

The Alice in wonderland reference is very clear it was the first thing I thought off when I saw it :)
