Introduction: Cauliflower Crust Chicken Pizza
Cauliflower crust pizza!! I had so many questions in my mind. " Is it possible? How does it taste? Will it form perfect pizza crust? " . But, I was so surprised and glad to see the output :).. It was so delicious, crispy and healthy too..
The pizza crust is made of Cauliflower and cheese with some spices, there is no flour/grains in the crust. The texture is crispy, hence you can easily hold it and eat it up. For the topping, I used chicken, bell peppers, onions and some mozzarella cheese. We liked it lot and it was stomach filling dish. Try this Paleo pizza dish, I am sure you will like it. Please drop your feedback and thanks.

Years ago, I discovered that using thawed, frozen cauliflower gives it a soft (almost mushy) consistency. Apparently ice formed in the freezing process breaks down the cellular structure, basically shredding it from the inside out. I hope this helps with the moisture issue.

I tried it but had a couple of hitches. I may have boiled the cauliflower too long or not squeezed out enough water but I cooked the crust for 50 minutes and crust was still very floppy in middle but crispy at edges after adding toppings and cooking for another 13 minutes. Ever had this happen? It was still pretty good I think I just need to tweak it a bit in the next round.
