Intro: Mobile Phone Charger With 1.5v Battery

Help:

For the cell phone to charge, charger output must be above 4V and can deliver a maximum current of 500mA. This charger circuit will step up the voltage from 1.5V to 5V DC to reach the cell phone charging requirement. The circuit uses only an AA or AAA 1.5v battery (1V to 2.4V).  The charger is composed of simple oscillator, a rectifier, and voltage regulator. The feedback winding F is composed 5 turns of #30 AWG magnetic wire and main winding P is composed of 6 turns of #24 AWG wire. The 5.1V zener diode and 2200uF(use 4700uF 16v capacitor for more accuracy)  capacitor regulates the output voltage to ensure proper charging.

***You can use IN4007 diode instead of IN4001 if u unable to get the diode IN4001.***

The windings are not critical, you can experiment using different number of turns. If ever the charger doesn’t have any output, try to reverse the winding connection.

Diodes various different results (1n4001)
1) 1n4004 ~2,7v
2) zener ~4,8v
3) germanium ~14,4v (not sure-germanium )

zener diode before capacitor not

I tested capacitor and diode and look after 11v and without capacitor 6.3v
capacitor 10v120uF

does not load
v out 4,5 usb male d+ d- connected
usb cable chearghing and data sync (al 4 pin)

don't connect the power line in the D+&D-. theses pins are only for data transmission. just connect the power lines as shown on the above picture.....

5,1 zener W ?
2200uF reverse, burn diode,

zener diode will not burn when the capacitor is discharged (2200uF)

zener diode connection is always in reverse connection for stabilizing. It does not burn out when the capacitor discharge...
