About: I am a conceptual artist, and my DIY projects are mostly inspired by pop culture (movies, music, sports, TV). I mostly specialize in painting, graphic design, drawing, digital photography, performance art, and…

From itty bitty to gigantically gorgeous, this take on Charlie Brown's Christmas tree will sure to leave you glowing withe holiday spirit!

Step 1: Sketch It Out

First, I began with a light sketch of the tree with a white eyeliner pencil.

Step 2: Fill in Large Areas

Next, I used green face paint (Mehron Paradise) to fill in the triangle shaped tree. Then, I used light blue (Mehron Paradise) to fill in Linus' blanket wrapped around the tree trunk.

Step 3: Add Decorations

Then, I begin adding my "decorations" using red, yellow, pink, and whtie paint (all from Mehron Paradise).

Red- bulbs and star

Yellow- extra bulbs

Pink- paper chain

White- popcorn string

Step 4: Outline

Now, I used black paint (Mehron Paradise) to outline the entire picture.

Step 5: Add Background

For the final touches, I used dark blue paint, and a mix of mauve and white paint to create the background, complete with a dark night sky, snowy ground and twinkling stars.

Step 6: O Christmas Tree!

How faithful are your painted branches! Now, that's a tree that Charlie Brown would have approved of!
