Cheap Workshop Stool on Castors
Intro: Cheap Workshop Stool on Castors
I was given an old vacuum cleaner for my workshop. Very soon I understood why! The motor failed. I was left with a stainless steel bin on wheels. Needing a stool for my modelling workbench removed the unwanted bits. I then cut two discs of 10mm plywood, one the diameter of the outside of the top and one the diameter of the inside. I stuck the two together with vinyl wood-glue and presto! I may get round to upholstering it one day but it does a great job at the moment and provides an extra bit of storage.

Well, it's too bad the vacuum broke, but the stainless steel looks really nice!
