Introduction: Cheesy Bacon Dip

About: I'm just a graphic designer that gets bored sitting at the computer all the time. You can check out my YouTube page at or my tumblr at

This bacon dip is the easiest dish to make for any gathering. Even people that don't like bacon normally (like me) love it!

Step 1: Ingredients

1/2 cup Mayonaise
4 oz. Swiss Cheese, shredded (the smaller the pieces, the better) - can add more/less if you want
1 pack of real bacon bits - can add more/less if you want
8 oz. Cream Cheese, softened
Wheat Thins for dipping

This recipe can be doubled easily, just make sure to use a bigger pan. If the bacon dip is really thick, it doesn't cook to as nice of a texture in the middle. It's still warm, gooey, and delicious; it just isn't quite as amazing.

***For an added bonus, cook normal bacon, cut it up, and add it to your bacon dip in addition to the bacon bits. The picture of the beginning has extra bacon added in.

Step 2: Mix It All Up

Put all of the ingredients (except the Wheat Thins obviously) in a bowl together. Once I get it all started, I find that it becomes easier to just get a little dirty & mix it with my hands.

Then press it all down into a glass dish. I use a round glass 8" or 9" cake pan, but my friends tend to use square dishes. It's entirely up to you. If you're doubling (or tripling! Yum!) the recipe, make sure to use a bigger pan.

Step 3: Bake & Enjoy!

Bake your bacon dip at 350 degrees until it bubbles & turns a light golden brown on top. I generally leave mine in for about 20 minutes, but that will greatly depend on the type of dish that you bake it in.

While it may be tempting to eat the entire batch of bacon dip on your own, don't. It will hit you like a rock, and you'll regret it. Instead, share with your friends so they can enjoy your delicious creation!
