Introduction: Chicago Landmark Decor

I always wanted to buy something like that but I could not find something I liked. So I made it myself. I chose my favorite buildings and landmarks and I turned them into letters.

Supplies

3D Printer, super glue, acrylic paint, sandpaper, polyfilla, and primer. More on Printables

Step 1:

For their base/background, I printed white blocks but you can pick any colors you prefer.

For the letters, I suggest high quality as there are many curves and a lot of textures and since they're small it really shows.

For the antennas I used toothpicks.

To get them ready for paint I used sandpaper, polyfilla, and primer. You can look at this tutorial or others online for more details.

Also, to get them to stand better, especially the Bean and the bridge, I glued some coins at the back.
