This is my take on the Preboxed Chicken & Mashed Tater Bake from Betty Crocker.

Ingredients:

  1. Biscuit Mix (Refer to my Previous Recipe Post All Purpose Bsicuit Mix)
  2. Cream of Chicken
  3. Canned Chicken
  4. Mrs. Dash (Garlic and Herb) Or your Choice.
  5. Mashed Taters

Step 1: Step 1: Add Mashed Taters

Mix up some Instant Taters or better yet, Make your own from Scratch

Depending on the Size of your Baking Dish. I used a 9x13x3.

Add about a 2 inch Layer of Taters to the bottom of the Baking Dish. Smooth it out.

Step 2: Step 2: Add Canned Chicken

Add Canned Chicken to your Cream of Chicken.

Also add about 1/4 can of water to rinse out the chicken. Shread the chicken from the canned chicken so it's in smaller pieces as well.

Step 3: Step 3: Add Mrs. Dash

Add Mrs. Dash to your Chicken and Cream of Chicken Combo, it will give it a little bit more Flavor!

Step 4: Step 4: Add Cream of Chicken Combo

Add the Chicken Combo (Cream of Chicken and Canned Chicken on top of the mashed taters.

Then sprinkle top with Mrs. Dash as well.

Step 5: Step 5: Mix Up Biscuit Mix

Mix up a Batch of Biscuit Mix to add to the top of the bake.

Optional, you can add the Mrs. Dash in the Biscuit mix as well to Flavor the Biscuits also.

Step 6: Step 6: Drop Biscuits

Finally, Use an Ice Cream Scoop and Scoop 1/2 scoops onto the Cream of Chicken Combo.

You do NOT Want the biscuits Close together, if they are to close, when baking, the middle will not get done, it will still be a doughball under the sauce.

I can make bigger biscuits if you like, just make sure that they aren't real close together, I'd say maybe bout 1 inch of room around each biscuit.

Bake at 350* for about 35 to 40 minutes or until golden brown and biscuits are baked all the way.
