Introduction: China O'Clock // CUSTOMIZE YOUR CLOCK //

We all have boring clocks like this one, maybe we can change that. Introducing China O'Clock:

This is a traditional style casing for your clock.

As always thanks to God, our savior, who helps us in all aspects of our lives:

I can do all this through him who gives me strength.
Philippians 4:13

Strength and blessings to all who are struggling with COVID-19.

Let's do this...

Supplies

- Autodesk Fusion 360

- 3mm Foam Board

- Hot Glue Gun and Glue Stick

- 2D Printer

- Paint and markers

- Props (Lego or Bijuterie)

- Scissors

and of course:

- A BORING CLOCK!!!!

Step 1: Research

Search what you like to find inspiration. In this case we searched for Chinease houses.

  • We want to be able to put it and take it whenever we want.
  • For a future version, we want to implement a servo and arduino to lift a mini poster that says "Wake Up" in Chinease.

Knowing that we want to make a case for our clock, we can go to the next step!

Step 2: Design

This project was done with AUTODESK FUSION 360, the best CAD software in the market.

With our clock virtually modeled, we were able to design the case to fit just right and accomplish each function and requirement that were proposed on the begining.

Step 3: Build

This build was made with foamboard, the steps were the following:

1. Cut the parts that were 2D printed

2. Paste them as templates for your foamboard

3. Cut the foamboard

4. Paste all the parts with Hot Glue Gun

Step 4: Customize

Know you can go to the CREATIVE part:

1. Paint it to make it the most accuarte as possible

2. Add some details

3. Put some mini props to make it more appealing and cool!

Step 5: Congratulations, Now You Have an Interesting Clock

Voila!!!

You have an interesting and cool o'clock!

Put it a name: YOUR NAME O'Clock

🎊 🎊

You are awesome!

🎉🎉🎉

Thanks to everyone who helped the project!
