Introduction: Choc Chip Peanut Butter Cookies
Today we are going to be baking my Nan’s Choc Chip Peanut Butter Cookies. These are super sweet and rich but really yummy. My Nan and I used to make these when I was younger. I will go through all the ingredients and then the method along with a few photos.
· 1 cup chocolate chips
· 1 cup crunchy peanut butter
· 1 cup brown sugar (not raw)
· 1 egg
· 1 teaspoon bicarb
· 1 cup chocolate chips · 1 cup crunchy peanut butter · 1 cup brown sugar (not raw) · 1 egg · 1 teaspoon bicarb
Preheat oven to 180˚c
Place all the ingredients into a large mixing bowl.
Using a spoon mix it all together until fully combined. You may need to use your hands as well.
Using a teaspoon (or tablespoon, depending on how big you want your cookies) take a scoop of the mixture and roll it into a ball.
Place balls on a baking tray with plenty of room between each one as the cookies spread when baking.
Slightly flatten each ball.
Bake for 5 to 7 minutes and make sure to watch them very closely because they burn very easily.
Let them cool for a few minutes on the tray before moving them to a wire rack as they are very soft when coming out but harden quickly.
