Introduction: Chocolate Banana Smoothie

I use to buy mocha frappucinos daily for several years until I found this recipe. This is a healthy alternative. It tastes so much better and doesnt have nearly the amount of sugar as the fraps do. The recipe can also be found at gardengirlrecipes.com.

Ingredients:

2 cups almond milk, cashew milk, or other nut milk

2 tablespoons cocoa powder

1-2 tablespoons agave

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

3-4 frozen bananas

optional:

1 tablespoon almond butter

1 teaspoon chia seeds

3-4 frozen coffee ice cubes

Step 1: Add First 4 Ingredients.

In a high speed blender, add the first 4 ingredients. (nut milk, cocoa powder, agave, vanilla extract)

Step 2: Add Optional Items

Next add the optional items, if using.

Step 3: Add Bananas

Then add the frozen bananas.

Step 4: Blend

Blend until smooth and creamy.
