My husband found the new chocolate covered craisins in the store, and he knew how much I like craisins and love chocolate so he bought me some. They are so good, that I just had to use them while baking too!

Here is what you need:

1 Cup chocolate covered craisins
2 Cups all purpose flour
1 Cup sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
4 tablespoons cold butter cut into pieces
1 large egg, beaten
3/4 Cup orange juice
1 teaspoon vanilla

Step 1: Mixing Ingredients

Combine beaten egg, orange juice, and vanilla. In a different bowl, whisk flour with the sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Mix in the cut up butter, and mix with a pastry blender. Fold wet ingredients into dry ingredients. Then stir in the craisins.

Step 2: Baking

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease or spray a 9x5 loaf pan. Add the dough into the pan and bake for 50 minutes, remove from oven, and let cool.
