Introduction: Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie
Disclaimer: In no way is this Instructable meant to condone regularly garnishing smoothies with peanut butter cups nor with any type of candy, cookies or even small cakes. That being said...doesn't a frosty, chocolate, peanut butter smoothie sound fantastic? Using almond milk, less processed peanut butter and raw cocoa powder allows for a not-nearly-as-unhealthy-as-it-sounds treat. It's not far off from a lot of pre-packaged meal replacement and/or protein shakes and it way better (nutritional info below).
And freezing the bananas first makes it awesome...
Ingredients
2 Cups Unsweetened Almond Milk
3 Bananas, frozen overnight and sliced before blending
4 Tbs Natural Peanut Butter
2 Tbs Raw Cocoa Powder
2 Tbs Flax Seed, ground
4 - 6 Ice Cubes
Makes Four 8-ounce Servings
Directions
Toss everything to the blender and go!
