Introduction: (Gluten Free) Chocolate Peanut Butter Mustache Cookies
What could be better than a chocolate cookie with peanut butter?? A chocolate & peanut butter cookie in the shape of a mustache!
This is a really easy recipe, and you can easily impress whoever you may be cooking for...
Step 1: Ingredients
What you will need:
3/4 c white sugar
1/4 c brown sugar, packed
1/2 c cocoa powder, unsweetened
1 c peanut butter
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 c to 3/4 chocolate chips (or peanut butter chips, white chocolate chips, butterscotch chips) & stir to combine
Step 2: Combine Ingredients
Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl. By adding the sugar first, the peanut butter won't stick to the side of the bowl as bad.
Step 3: Mix It Together.
Mix everything together in the bowl, then place in the freezer for 10 min.
Step 4: Roll the "Dough"
Take the dough out of the freezer and roll it out on a cutting board or counter, whichever you prefer. Next, take out your handy-dandy mustache cookie cutter (instructable to come later....) and start cutting. After you have cut as many as possible, roll the dough & repeat. Continue until there isn't any left.
Step 5: Bake It Up!
Bake the cookies at 350 for 10-12 minutes, or until they look barely done. They are dark, so this is a little tricky to judge, but I've got confidence in you...
Pull them out, place on a sweet decorative plate that you just have "lying around" and....... whah-la!
Delicious cookies that look like fully developed man-staches!
Enjoy!
