Introduction: Chocolate Cake Without Eggs and Butter
Materials :
a bowl
a whisk
a cup
a tablespoon
a teaspoon
a cake tin
a saucepan
a wooden spoon
a knife
a cake dish
Ingredients :
For the cake :
3 cups flour
2 cups water
2 cups sugar
1 cup rapeseed oil
a pinch of salt
1 tablespoon of cocoa powder
2 teaspoon of baking powder
For the frosting :
1 bar of chocolate
¼ cup milk
Method :
1. Preheat oven to 200 C/gas.
2. Pour the flour in a bowl. Add the two cups sugar and the two teaspoons of baking powder. Mix these ingredients with a whisk. Then, add progressively the water and the rapeseed oil. Mix delicately until you get a fluid mixture. Finally, gradually mix a pinch of salt and a tablespoon of cocoa powder (or two for the gourmand). Mix everything together.
3. Oil the cake tin and be careful not to forget to add the flour in it because otherwise the cake sticks to cake tin.
4.Transfer the mixture to the cake tin and bake the cake for 45 minutes until a knife inserted into the center comes out clean.
5. Frosting : Melt one bar of milk chocolate in a saucepan and mix with the milk. You must put milk instead of water in order to have a better frosting. Mix everything together with a wooden spoon until you get a fluid mixture.
6. After the cake has cooled, turn out onto a cake dish. Put the frosting on top and around the cake.
Now treat you ! =)
