Our easy to make gingerbread house combines the savory flavors of the oyster crackers with the sweet gram crackers to make a truly delicious, stylish and edible house. I hope you enjoy the project and hopefully make it yourself!

Supplies

You need:

Food dye

Edible hot glue or normal hot glue (its harder to eat use if its normal hot glue)

oyster crackers

gram crackers

Step 1: Assemble the Base

Take four gram crackers and cut a small door hole out of one. Put a bit of edible hot glue on each one and place them one by one is a square. Make sure to put some in-between the cracks to add structural integrity.

Edible hot glue is very sticky and very hot, so make sure to put a piece of paper under your workspace.

Step 2: Add the Roof

Take out three gram crackers and snap one into four pieces. Take the other two and put them on top of your hut like so, once you are happy glue the top and the sides. Then take 2 of the four gram cracker pieces and place them into the gaps of the roof to act as fake windows.

Step 3: Finishing Touches

Now you need your oyster crackers. Place them on top of a roof to act as shingles then go down the sides in rows. Afterwards paint them with the food coloring using red and green colors to bring out the Christmas aesthetic. After if you have extras you can make a simple fence or pathway.

Step 4: Enjoyment

You are done! Use it as decoration or taste the sweet and savory flavors.

Thanks!
