Introduction: Christmas Tree Yard Decoration
I enjoy lighting up my house for Christmas but it takes some work. I am always looking for faster, lighter and cheaper ways to setup my lights. Here is one of my 5 foot Christmas trees that is really fast to put up, take down and store. It's much lighter than plywood versions and cheaper than anything I've seen online.

Step 2: The Build
Begin by bending your metal bars to shape. If you follow my dimensions the rope lighting will just fit. After you bend the pieces weld them together along with the cross support sections.
Warning! welding is very dangerous use the proper safety equipment and be careful.
Now clean up your welds with a grinder and spray paint the whole thing.

Step 3: Finish
Now plug in your rope light to warm it up. This will make bending it easier. Zip tie the rope light following the inside of the frame. Add extra tie's as needed to hold the shape. Wrap up the tree with the mini lights and zip tie to secure them.
That's all there is to it. Now go make a few more and mock your neighbors store bought junk.
