Introduction: Chunky Funky Monkey Bread

This monkey bread is delicious! The center has a chewy texture, while the outside is gooey, and sweet. This will make your mouth water, and make you not want to stop eating! This wonderful monkey bread would taste good with anything. Try it with a nice mug of hot coco, or maybe a nice hot latte. Whatever you have with it will will taste delicious, and make you feel nice and cozy.

Step 1: Ingredients

Dough
package (2 and 1/4 teaspoons) active dry yeast
1/4 cup warm water (110F-115F)
1 and 1/4 cups warm 2% milk
1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
1/4 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon salt
5 cups all-purpose flour

Coating
3/4 cup butter
1 1/4 cup sugar
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
2/3 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla

Vanilla glaze
1 cup powdered sugar
3 tablespoon milk or cream
1/2 teaspoon vanilla


Step 2: Making the Dough

Apply yeast into warm water, until dissolves, add sugar, stir and let it sir for 2-3 minutes. Combine with milk, melted butter, eggs, salt and 3 cups of flour. Beat on high speed for 3 minutes.

Step 3: Kneeding the Dough

On a floured surface knead the dough for 4-5 minutes or until smooth and elastic, adding flour if sticky (you may need to add a lot of flour).
Form dough into a smooth ball and put in a greased bowl and turn once to grease top.
Cover tightly and refrigerate overnight

Step 4: Making the Coating

Melt a half cup of butter into a small bowl
Combine sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl
Then set aside
Spray a 10-12 cup bundt pan with cooing spray set aside
Punch dough down gently and allow air bubble to rise.
Pull apart and roll it into small balls about an inch in diameter
You will need 40-45 in total
Dip each one in butter and roll in the cinnamon and sugar coating. Let rise again for 45 minutes. When your waiting preheat your oven to 350, and melt your remaining butter and whisk together with brown sugar vanilla, poor this mixture over your monkey bread after it sits.

Step 5: Making the Glaze

While your monkey bread is cooking, simply mix your glaze ingredients together and pour over your freshly cooked, gooey monkey bread. Cut and enjoy.
