I've seen this as well. I wonder what it is about newspaper that makes it so good at cleaning glass. Is it the way the cellulose is stuck in the matrix, or the absorbancy or porosity or?
I'd be curious to find out the why.

A lot of paper towels come with conditioners and other undesirable additives .. gotta keep those customers coming back for more ya know :) and more often too :) but also:

-newspaper contain very solid, dense fibers so they wont easily tear causing all that lint you see with paper towels.

-they don’t contain common materials found in paper towels that will cause scratches i.e. calcium carbonate, silica

-also, as of 2000, most newspapers use a soy based ink, which doesn't stain or smear, as opposed to petroleum based inks that do

Find it and tell me too. I think newspaper's absorbency and little bit rough.

I used to do this growing up to clean mirrors (I helped mum, who was a cleaner at a ballet studio). I always used one piece of damp paper to clean, then one dry piece to polish the droplets off. It always needs to be newspaper though. no other paper (including paper towel) did as good a job.

Anyone who wants to clean windows can do this.
In the step 3,ORDINARY CLEANERS are not means persons ,I mean cleansers which used for clean the glasses or windows. Like liquid detergents.
If you don't get the answer,I'm sorry.
