Introduction: Clone Armour Modification: TK Commando

About: i am an aspiring prop maker and keen sci-fi fan. i found this site a few years back and i did not know i'd ever love it this much! i'm mostly into Assassin's Creed cosply and Star Wars Cosplay.

so it's been some time. But i have finished high school now, so here's my first instructable post high school.

i've modfied up my captain rex as the kilt didn't fit my waist anymore so i've done as follows.

Step 1: The Reference Picture.

everything starts this way. took a front and backshot of the Commando armour and worked around it.

Step 2: Helmet

i got a TK helmet kit for my birthday so i put it together, cleaned up the rough areas with some vinegar and began to carefully add my helmet stripe. i do have to wear a balaclava under the helmet to obscure my face.

Step 3: The Littler Updates

i tried to fit in every detail. meaning i covered the shoulders in total blue, added the blue details on the belt and got the leg detail in.

the leg was possibly the hardest piece to the puzzle. the thigh was in 3 peices, the top corner, the middle line and the lower thigh. the knee had to be made in strips, going from biger to smaller and the calf was straight foward.

Step 4: The Torso

the chest was a fairly simple design, a blue Y shape on the front of the chest. I built the top \/ in two segments, marking a dot where the two will meet and joined them up, then the line was easy. 4 seperate strips with one running up through the \/.

i changed the hands and removed the stripes, as Commando don't have hand stripes.

Step 5: The Finished Product.

this is how it came out.

I will post another instructable soon.
