Intro: Coin Wrap Rolls by Dimitrios

Having to sort coins each month for my side business, I wanted a quick solution to the trouble of doing this with torn paper, and handwriting the denominations on the rolls. I searched the internet thinking that surely this must be downloadable somewhere, only to find it wasn't. Sure, you can buy these rolls ready made at an office store, but that's like a box of 5,000 boring rolls. Instead I designed my own, and made it available to the public for free at http://www.dimitrios-art.com/downloads.htm

So for those of you who do this by hand: All you do is download, print, cut, tape and save yourself some time.

STEP 1: Print Out and Cut

Click on the PDF file and print it out. Once printed, cut out on the marks.

STEP 2: Fold the Coin Wrap

Fold the paper and cover the white space entirely and meet the line where the arrows are pointing to

STEP 3: Tape

Now tape the edge

STEP 4: Start Inserting Coins

Press the just taped coin wrap so it is nice round and start inserting the coins, look if they all fall flat on the bottom

STEP 5: Fold the Ends of the Coin Wrap

Fold the ends of the coin wrap, but first press the coins in the center of the coin wrap roll.

STEP 6: That's It, Presto!

My bank provides rolls for free why are you all wasting ink and paper?
Because not all banks do that, that's why.

Love this one.

good, it is like mentos
this is great!!!!!!!!
Several years ago (make it more than 10!) I was able to find smaller denominations of wrappers...such as pennies (25 cent), nickels ($1), dimes ($3), and quarters($5).    Is it possible for someone to come up with these kind of templates?
Do you intend on making designs for other denominations of coinage as well? This is awesome.
Hi, I do have the other denominations as well. I will upload them as well soon
Thank you very much! I greatly look forward to it.
the pdf file is damaged...it won't open! Could you re-up?
Hi, I just checked and it opens up fine...
make it so you dont need as many XD
Hey man this was an awsome idea. how did you figure out how to make these the right size? I have a bunch of U.S. half-dollars I want to roll up but its hard to find the right size tubes these days. I'm a graphics designer too and If you want to do it togeather we can make templets for all the coin sizes. No more will we be subject to the $2.99 a bag oppression of the office store!
Hey I couldn't wait so I whiped this out. I figured out the right size and just modified the file you made. I think you tweaked the image to make this harder cause I couldnt get the circles to line up but anyway here:

Hey now! These are pretty cool! Some of us like to just like neat little things like this... so no worries if the bank just throws them out. It's sorta like having a carved radish on your dinner plate at a nice restaurant... no one's gonna eat it, it's just a great presentation. Nice work, Dimitrios. (On a side note, I regularly see commercials for a certain bank—whose name I won't say here, but whose initials are "Chevy Chase"—and their free coin-sorter machines, even for non-customers. That's also an option... might save you some coin-rolling time if you're ever in a pinch.)
Thanks for your kind reply DanteDante. Comments like yours get the creative juices flowing...
Cool! What about other denominations (dimes, nickels, pennies). re: CMPalmer's comment, perhaps either a cutout could be placed for folks to write them in, or create a fill-in form PDF (probably requires expensive Adobe software, though...)
I will upload the other nominations later, and will incorporate the fill in form with ACC#
