Introduction: Coins in Tinkercad

About: 3d print lover.

I hope this instructable will be enlightening and helpful. First I would like to say that you should print it with PLA that has small amounts of metal in it. Next I suggest to expand on this idea. I suck at designing therefore this might not be the best. NOW TO THE PROJECT!!!!!!!

Supplies

Supplies are as follows: a brain, a computer, internet, and a Tinkercad account. (a 3d printer might be helpful too)

Step 1:

To make a basic coin you must:

A: have a base, such as a cylinder or hexagon. the base should be between 1 and 2 mm thick.

B: have a design, to make this is the hard part.... first you must "break down" the idea of what you want to make, aka simplify it. I would use scribble (1 of the shapes) for some, such as the one above. also use the shapes and text, but shorten it to 1 mm above the base.

C: and last you must make a second side. when they are printed you may glue them together.

Step 2:

this is an example on how to use shapes to make complex forms.

Step 3:

thank you for viewing this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ( i will have after print pics soon, my printers down so i'm using a freinds )
