Introduction: Cold Storage Room in House Basement / Canning Storage / Cold-storage Unit - Guide to Build It -
I built myself a cold room / cold-storage unit in my home basement. The goal was to store garden vegetables, and canned beverages / canning. Of course, one of my wishes was to be able to walk in the cold to access the shelves (walk-in).
I would like to share to you my experiment, step by step, with pictures. I edit a free guide for this.

A cool room would be so fun to have in a house! I know a woman who has a ton of food storage and she has a cool room to store more perishable things and it is super useful. I could save so much on so many things if I had one!http://www.abccoolrooms.com.au/services

The basement has an ample amount of space so building a proper storage setup in there is just perfect. However, in my opinion, to ensure your food products last as long as you would want them to, your basement needs to first be of the right temperature and free from pests and such. If you are just storing regular items like furniture and tools, then the climate is not much of an issue.
