I have emboridery floss and I don't know what to do with it. Lol, I'm just going to make this... oh well that doesn't look half bad... it looks great. Another!!
I made my first choker on a whim and I was just playing around with the floss and the smallest crochet hook I had. Which was not the smallest crochet hook I had but it worked just fine. I'm sure you could use a smaller hook but I just used my E 3.50mm hook.

Supplies:
*(colors of your choice) embroidery floss
*size E 3.50mm (or smaller) crochet hook
*basic knowledge of crochet
single crochet and slip stich
*scissors
*lobster claw closer
*measuring tape
*creativity :)

*Optional:
beads, buttons, small closed object that you would not mind being on your neck
*glue

Step 1: In the Beginning... There Was a Chain One

Okay, start off by creating a slip knot and place it on your hook and chain 80 stitches. When I mesured my neck it was 12 1/2 inches. I chained 80 and it cam out to be about 12 inches but it had some stretch in it. Even though the chain of 80 was a little less than my neck measurement, I know it will stretch with wear. And just to make sure after you're done with the first row of single crochets place it around your neck to see if it fits. It should be not to tight, but not to loose.
· Chain 80 (or whatever number it takes to fit comfortably around your neck)
·Chain one
·Single crochet in each stitch of the chain

Step 2: Now Add Color!

To start the next row just bring up a loop and chain one and single crochet in each stitch across. It is important that you leave at least an inch to two inches of a tail at the ends. That is so you can have something to tie the closer with.

Step 3: Just Make It Look Pretty

Now this is where you can choose to do something different than what I did. I did a slip stitch across the row where the blue and yellow meet, but you can continue adding rows of color on top of the next one. To start off I placed my hook in between the spaces of the colors and slipped stitched by pulling up a loop and not yarning over, but instead just pulling through the loop on the hook. I did this to add an another color without adding row after row of straight color which adds to the height of the necklace.

Step 4: A Little Gold Never Hurts

I added a top and final row of single crochet in gold just because. Woth the tails i just tied a jump ring to one end and a lobster claw to the other end, here you can add glue to make sure the knot stays. Here are some of the others I have made with different colors, stitches, and beads. To add beads to a necklace just string them on before you start the next row and work them into whatever stitch you want. For the triangles when I was doing a row of single crochets I just single crochet into the opening twice with tree normal single crochet stitches in between.
