Colorful Fan ???

Intro: Colorful Fan ???

Hi everyone! Today i will be showing you how to make a colorful fan. So lets get started!

STEP 1: What Your Going to Need

So to start i am using a three blade fan if your fan has more than three blade that just means that you add more colors. And after experimenting with this i found out that lighter colors are better.

1 paint brush
3-5 of the primary colors
1 fan

STEP 2: Step 1

Take of the part of the fan that is covering the blades.

STEP 3: Step 2

Then make sure your blades are nice and clean because if its a old fan it mite have so dust on it witch will not allow the paint to stick.

STEP 4: Step 3

Now you can start painting all your blades the colors that you have Picked out.

Then let dry for about 10 to 30 minutes. And something i found to help speed up the drying process was to put your painted fan in front of a normal fan.

STEP 8: Done!

Now just turn on your fan and watch the colorfulness come alive ! Big shout out to my friend amanda bestor for helping me take pictures and helping paint. So i hope you guys and girls like this instructable and i will see you next week bye !!

Yes laffinm it is a little brighter and if you use brighter colors it looks even better.

nicely done! a few years ago my friends and i did a big 36" fan, but spiraled the colors. did a white base coat since the blades were red, then got the neon sprau paint out.
