You can use this DIY for any picture that you want.

Supplies

- Markers

- Dish soap

- Paint

- Rice, Salt, Plastic wrap, and/or Oil ( Optional )

Step 1: Print/Trace Your Picture

First, Print or Trace your picture on to a piece of paper. I also traced my picture with a black marker to outline it more.

Step 2: Paint/Color

Second, you want to color/paint your piece of paper. You can use different techniques for watercolors. I used rice and salt for my painting. After you paint it let it dry ( I left it in overnight ).

Step 3: Tape

Third, put tape over the part that will have the scratch-it on. I used scotch tape, but I recommend clear boxing tape.

Step 4: Mix the Ingredients

Next, Mix together your Dish soap and paint. The ratio is 2-1. I did 2 tablespoons of paint and 1 Tablespoon of Dish soap.

Step 5: Apply the Mixture

After that, you apply the mixture onto the spot of your paper where your want your scratch-it part to go. Then let it dry overnight.

Step 6: Trace Over Your Picture

Next, trace where your photo used to be with a marker.

Step 7: Decorate

Finally, Decorate and add the final details to make your scratch-it what you like.
