Introduction: Colorful Wristwear

A wristwear made with color pencils is a sure way to encourage your princess to look forward for the school re-open day, so that she can show off her new accessory to her friends.

Step 1: Materials Required

Color Pencils
Hacksaw Blade
Cutting Board
Sharpener
Drill
Elastic Wire
Acrylic Colors (Optional)

Step 2: Arrange the Colors in Desired Order

This bracelet is made pencils in 2 sizes. Every alternate pencil is smaller in size. To decide which pencils have to be cut short, its important to first decide on the color arrangement.

Step 3: Measurements

Measure the Kid's Wrist and calculate the number of pencils needed to make the bracelet.
Make sure that the number of pencils needed is an even number (1 pencil more or less will not make much difference).
An Average kid's wrist size is 5 inches.

Step 4: Cut the Pencils

I have taken the 2 pencil sizes as 4cm and 5.5cms. This can vary as desired. But if you want it to be smaller than the above measurement, you might find it difficult when you sharpen the pencil.

Place the pencil on a scale and mark the length using a craft knife. A provision for sharpening has to be made. This can be 4mm.

Now cut the pencil on the mark using hacksaw blade.

Step 5: Sharpen and Color

Sharpen both the sides of the pencil.
If you want the bracelet to look more colorful, you can paint the plain wooden part to match the pencil color.

Step 6: Drill Hole and Connect

Mark the center of each pencil and drill the hole.
Connect the pencils as per the color arrangement decided. I have used an elastic cord so that its adjustable.
You may use a normal cord with fastener if you are sure about the wrist measurement.
The Wristwear is all set to make waves among the "Little Ones".
