Colourfull rainbow parrot with quilling technique. This is a decorative item. We can place it on the shelf or hand it on the wall.

Supplies

Materials required:
(a) Old file/cardboard
(b) White sheet
(c) Black sheet
(d) Colourfull rainbow colour papers
(e) Pair of scissors
(f) Glue
(g) Ruler
(h) Pencil

Step 1: Base Making.

Take the old file or cardboard, white paper, glue & scissors. Cut the white paper according to the size of the file and cover the file with the paper using the glue.Then draw the outline of the parrot on the covered board.

Step 2: Drawing and Preparation of Beeds.

After drawing the parrot. Take the colour papers and cut them into small stripes. Combine 3 stripes together to make one long stripe.Then using the tip of a pen roll the long stripes or can easily roll it with fingers. After rolling it make it a bit lose and shape it by pressing the corners. So, here your beeds are ready.

Step 3: Colour Filling to the Bird.

After making the beeds stick them over the board according to the outline and colour sequence. Similarly do the whole body and the branches.

Step 4: Preparation of Leaves.

Now, it's time for the leaves. Take the green colour paper and cut small triangles from it. Then fold it to zig-zag way like we used to do it while making paper fan.Then fold the zig-zag from the middle and stick it.
Yes, the leaves are ready!! Now paste them to there respected place over the board.

Step 5: Boder Making.

Now, it's time to give it a final look. So, for boder making or framing we just need the black sheet, scissors, ruler, pencil & glue. Take the Black sheet and cut it according to the measurement of the boder & then paste them over the boder area on the board.
Yes, it's done!! The Colourfull rainbow parrot is complete!!

Step 6: Preparation of Flowers.

Like the leaves cut the colour paper ( of your choice) into small triangles. Fold them from the middle in a zig-zag way. Then fold it from the middle and stick it. After that combine 5 petals to make the structure of the flower and paste a small circle of any colour in the middle to complete the look of the flower.
Yes, so it's done, flower is complete. Now stick them to there respective place over the board.
