Connect Four in 3D, also known as 3D 4 in a Row, is a variation of the classic Connect Four game played on a three-dimensional grid. The objective is to be the first player to connect four of their game pieces in a row, either horizontally, vertically, or diagonally, in any of the three dimensions.

In this instructable, I will share how to make a connect 4 in 3d

Supplies

20mm x 15mm wood beads (with 10mm Hole)
7mm wooden sticks or dowels
Small saw
Acrylic colors
Super Glue
3d printer

Step 1: Base Plate

I used Tinkercad to design this
The base is 120x120x5 mm
Holes are 7 mm in diameter and separated by 25mm gap
3d print the base with 0.2 or 0.28 layer height

Step 2: Sticks

Using a saw, cut wood sticks with 73 mm as length
Using sandpaper, smoothen the edges
Fix the sticks on the base and superglue them together

Step 3: Paint Work

We need 32 beads with each color
I choose red and yellow and painted them
Leave it to dry for 1 hour
Apply varnish if you wish to

Step 4: Play With It

Now that the game is ready, give it a try and play with your kid or a friend

Rules

Players take turns placing one of their game pieces into any unoccupied position on the grid.
The game starts with one player (usually the red player) making the first move.
Winning Condition:
The goal is to connect four of your game pieces in a row in any of the three dimensions (horizontal, vertical, or diagonal).
A row can be formed in a straight line, either along one of the grid's three axes or along a diagonal line that spans across different axes.
The first player to get 4 beads in a row, wins
Draw: If all positions on the grid are filled without either player connecting four in a row, the game is considered a draw.
