Simple Embroidery

This is a simple instructable, on decorating your bucket hat!

Step 1: First!

Before starting, you'll have to do a little research on the constellation you want to embroider. I chose Virgo, the prominent sign in the sky during September. So find yours, and trace it out onto a piece of paper so its easier for you to look at.

Step 2: To Buy

Obviously, you'll need a bucket hat. I got mine from 5Bellow. And some friendship bracelet string. And choose the color that works best with your hat.

Step 3: Outline

Use pen or dark pencil to draw the sign directly on the hat, where you want it.

Step 4: Needle

You'll need a needle with a pretty big eye. Then cut a piece of string and thread it through. Tie it tight on the needle!

Step 5: Begin

Push the needle up through one of the stars. Tie a knot on the inside so it doesn't pull through.

Step 6: Follow the Sign...

Now just sew directly over the sign. Making sure to make an 'X' for each star.

Step 7: Tying Off

When You've embroidered the entire thing, cut the string off the needle and tie it securely at the back.

Step 8: Thats It!
