Introduction: Convert Old Cfl to Audio Amplifier
Hii friend,
Today I am going to make an audio amplifier using old cfl.We will use transistor from cfl.
Let's get started,
Step 1: Take All Materials As Shown Below
Materials required -
(1.) Transistor - 4205 x1
(2.) aux cable x1
(3.) Speaker - 8 ohm x1
(4.) Battery - 9V x1
(5.) Battery clipper x1
(6.) Capacitor - 25V 100uf x1
(7.) Resistor - 1K x1
Step 2: Connect Resistor
Firstly we have to connect 1K resistor to the transistor as shown.
Connect 1K resistor to pin-1 and pin-2 of the transistor as you can see in the picture.
Step 3: Connect Capacitor
Next we have to connect capacitor.
Solder +ve pin of capacitor to pin-1 of transistor as shown in the picture.
Step 4: Connect Aux Cable
Next connect aux cable wire.
Connect +ve wire of aux cable to -ve pin of capacitor and
-ve wire to pin-3 of transistor as shown in the picture.
Step 5: Connect Battery Clipper Wire
Connect +ve wire of battery clipper to pin-2 of transistor.
Step 6: Now We Have to Connect Speaker
Now we have to connect speaker wire.
Connect -ve wire of speaker to -ve of battery clipper and
+ve wire of speaker to pin-3 of transistor as you can see in the picture.
Step 7: HOW TO USE IT
Connect battery to battery clipper and plug in aux cable to mobile phone and play songs.
Thank you

Might want to add a capacitor in between the transistor and the speaker to protect the speaker from constant DC current.

thinking of trying to this, if i where to ad a potentiometer for volume control, where would i put it?

also, do you have some as easy as this but for stereo output?
Question 3 years ago on Step 6
Speaker whatts
What are the changes made to connect 60w speaker
Answer 2 years ago
You should use the components found inside a 60 watt CFL.
