Intro: Converted Corn Crib to Buggy House Workshop

STEP 1: The Weapons of Mass Construction

One can never have enough tool boxes or enough tools !

STEP 2: The Lineup

Messy but i know where everything is .

STEP 3: RAS

This saw rocks it was froze up when i got it took me 2 days to rebuild it well worth the time and effort.

STEP 4: Saw Table

I like to make clocks and other timely things hence the slabs of wood under the workbench .

STEP 5: Wood Lathe

My good Ole Wood lathe .

STEP 6:

I try to organize but to no avail .

STEP 7:

STEP 8: Table Saw

Not really safe to have this wheeled so it gets carried.

I like your conversion. In fact, it gives me the courage to continue on my quest for a more organized tiny workshop.

Well done accomodating all that equipment into a seemingly small space, I have a similar problem, my workshop is just 6ft x 8ft x 6ft 2" high, 4ft square floorspace, is amazing how we adapt through determination, I even crammed in a woodburner - to help alleviate the damp problem, (don't tell the missus that I keep most of my material stock indoors in the loft). Nothing can keep us from producing. Some people are so compact that I've seen workshops inside kitchen cupboards!

Did you carve Leo the Lion mold or what's his story?

Leo was a plastic lion that was all busted up when i got him had to fill some holes and resculpt part of his legs and head out of clay and plaster of paris right now he has 45 layers of liquid latex rubber on him and i'm waiting for the weather to warm up enough to make a Fiberglass mother mold Then i'll be able to make me some concrete statues of leo

I sculp all kinds of stuff from plaster of paris and other mediums

Oh OK cool thanks. I thought you were like some kind of a wild carver or something there for a minute. The scaled images on this site make it difficult to understand just exactly what I'm looking at.

OK, maybe not that bad, if it were, my landlord would have a fit. ;-D

Yea sometimes i just sigh and walk away but i do at least know where everything is this little shop of mine rocks in the summer but in the winter it's kinda slow but it works for now .... My Dining room used ot look like this before the wife started getting concerned about dust lol
