Step 2: Prepare the Dough
Use a knife to cut dough in half inch sections. Form the dough into balls. Make sure the balls are evenly formed.
Step 3: Prepare the Tray
Take your silicone muffin tray and turn it upside down. Put butter on the top and sides of the muffin tray. Place the tray on the cooling rack. Then put the cookie balls on the top of the muffin tray. Make sure the balls are in the exact middle or the cookie will expand unevenly.
Step 4: Baking!
Preheat the oven being sure to follow the directions on the packaging. Place the cookies into the oven. Be sure to place a cookie sheet below the cooling rack to catch anything that overflows. Be sure to use a cooling rack so that the cookies bake evenly. The inverted muffin tray needs the space provided by the cooling rack for the inside of the cookies to bake fully.
Step 5: More Chocolate
Set up your double boiler. Fill the bottom pot with water and turn up the burner so that it begins to boil. Once it is boiling add the chocolate chips to the top pot. As the chocolate melts us the spatula to spread it along the inside of the cookie cups you baked. Once the inside of the cup is fully covered put then in the refrigerator. Let them cool until the chocolate is hardened.
Step 6: Add Milk and Eat
Take your cups out of the refrigerator and fill with milk or pudding or icing or fruit or ice cream or bananas or whatever you like. It is really good.
Suggestions from my wife, who by the way is a much better baker than I.
My wife suggested using sugar cookies to get a more uniform shape, but I could not resist the chocolate chip cookies.
