Introduction: Coyote Racing RZR

Hello! This project I will try to redesign the rc car’s paint theme for the Polaris RZR UTV into the Coyote Racing RZR WL toys 12428-B. That I made in a Red Bull decal last time. At this point the body is old and warn out with many scratch and crack. So I bought a new body, with the factory’s decal. The steps to spray paint are simple and easy to do. The result is awesome. It’s look real and very cool.

Supplies that you need to do the “Coyote Racing RZR” project.

1. Spray paints (light gray, red, blue, mat black), Plastic primer.

2. Printer sticker (Coyote Racing, other sponsors logos.)

3. Masking tape.

Step 1: Ready to Spray Paint.

First, I take the Red Bull panel off. Then, I clean the new panels surface of with alcohol to make the surface not too oily for the spray paint. Next I spray plastic primer the first coat let it dry, and spray at least one more times. I separated in to 2 colors red color for the fenders and gray for the body panel. Next I cover the panel with masking tape to spray light gray and let it dry. Then cover the light gray to spray red on the front and rear fender. I spray the front grill, rear bumper, and roof panel flat black. Spray about 2-3 times. (Make sure that the color stick to all areas, while let the paint dry.) For the rims, I clean it, and spray the same color, to make it looks new. I also take the running gear to lubricate with grease and paint control arm, strut rod, lower control arm, and roll cage with red paint.

Also paint yellow spring as well.

Step 2: Make Sticker, Apply Decal.

The last step is too looks for the any logo, then I saw Coyote Racing logo and other sponsors logos that related to the Polaris RZR racer. Lay it out on the computer make sure that are 2 each for each side, but make sure that all the logos are proportion to the Polaris RZR scale. I test print it before and do some adjustment of the proportion. Now I print the sticker, cut it out, and apply them into position on the Coyote Racing RZR racer. Now, it done and play with it. It fast and easy to do, it also looks like a real thing.

Thanks
