Intro: Cradle Swing Auto Rocker

Hello all,

This is my very first post.... so very excited about it!!!

I am relatively new to the community and being from electronics
background, I really wish I have discovered Arduino much earlier, when I had
more time on my side ;)

I think this project really saw some success (after trying out
and auto car and a self-balancing bot), because I built this for my son :)

OK, here goes...

STEP 1: Motivation


We received a swing for our 6 months old from his Grand Pa and

soon enough we realized that unless we keep swinging it, this lil guy was unhappy
;)

So I wanted to create an instrument that will provide a tug to
the rope attached to the bottom of the swing.

STEP 2: Supplies:

  1. Rotational Speed Measuring Module
  2. Arduino Nano
  3. PCB Prototype boards
  4. Motor with wheel

How to setup the circuit, any diagrams or pointers you have?

I'm not sure what you mean by whole model.
I have included the main parts and the Arduino code.

Is there anyway you can provide step by step instructions? Also, please provide list of parts and if possible from where you bought it. I have to make similar for my lil one. Appreciate your help!!

Cool project! If you want to make the video a little easier for people to view, you can upload it to a site like YouTube and then embed it in the page with the Embed Video tool in the step editor.
