Introduction: Crayon Popup Greeting Card

Welcome to another crafting tutorial by Paper Chaser TO.

Today we will be creating a Crayon Themed Popup Card. Before we begin, you'll be needing the following materials:

Step 1: OPTIONAL - ONLY FOR THOSE WHO HAVE THE PDF VERSION OF THE TEMPLATE

If you have the PDF version, print the template out and cut 6 copies of the crayon on different coloured card stock

Step 2:

Ink the edges of the crayon pieces (A, B, C, D).

Step 3:

Glue B and D to the top and bottom rectangular section of A.

Step 4:

Glue C centred on the body of A.

Step 5:

Use black marker to draw a thick and thin stripe across the top and bottom on C (thick-thin-space-thin-thick).

Step 6:

  1. Stick googly eyes onto the crayon, repeat for all 6 crayons.
  2. Assemble the rounded box in a card (tutorial here).

Step 7:

Glue decorative box corners on the outside of the card along the bottom.

Step 8:

Arrange crayons inside the card along the 3 divider tabs.
