Creative Traditional Indian Mask

I have made a traditional Indian mask with some creativity added to it

Step 1: Preparing the Base for the Mask

I bundled up some newspaper into the above shape and used it as the base to put the clay on

Step 2: Making the Clay Base for the Mask

Using the paper maash clay I made it into a flat shape resembling the final product and embedded a gauze cloth on the back of it

Step 3: Detailing the Base

Making the details on the face, by spring the clay into different shapes like rolled and flat trapezium for the mustache, after attaching all these parts one by one onto the base, I left it to dry

Step 4: Applying the Primer on the Base

Applied the primer on the base so that it can be painted with normal watercolors as without the primer the clay would absorb the colour

Step 5: Painting

Painted the finished base with watercolors in a rich colour scheme and put it up on a stand for display
