Crochet Cupcakes!!

Intro: Crochet Cupcakes!!

Some cute play food??? No problem!! These little cupcakes take around 30-35 Minutes to make and are a easy enough for even a beginner crocheter!!

Abbreviations

Sc~Single Crochet
Ch~Chain
Scdc~Single Crochet Decrease

STEP 1: Supplies

~Sparkly Yarn
~Beige Yarn
~Yarn Needle
~Plastic Doll Eyes
~Scissors
~Stuffing
~I/9-5.50mm crochet hook

STEP 2: Batter

Row 1: ch 2, sc 9 in the 2 ch from the hook, then join
Row 2: ch 1, sc 2 in each previous sc until the end
Row 3: ch 1, sc 2, sc 1, sc 1, sc 2 repeat the sc until the end

Note: ONLY ON THE 4 ROW WORK YOUR ROUNDS IN THE BLACK LOOPS ONLY

Row 4: ch 1, scdc 1, sc 1, sc 1, sc 1, scdc 1 repeat sc until the end

Row 5-9: ch 1, sc 1 until the end

STEP 3: Frosting

Row 1: ch 2, sc 9 in the ch from the hook
Row 2: ch 1, sc 2 until you reach the end
Row 3: ch 1, sc 2, sc 1, sc 1, sc 1, sc 2, repeat the sc until the end
Row 4: ch 1, sc 1 until the end

Petal/Row 5: ch 1, sc 5 in the same sc, now that's one petal repeat until you have 10 of them

STEP 4: Eyes and Sewing

Place your eyes on then sew the batter and frosting. Don't forget to stuff the cupcake!!

STEP 5: Done!!

I think for a pin cushion, you would need a less open fabric, maybe a small cotton thread. Of course that would mean more rows.
