I made this pattern from scratch while making the hat. I never wrote it down. I have this pattern now because I am making 2 new hats based off the pink one and I figured out the pattern while trying to make a new one and looking at the pink one to help try and get it all together. I finally did figure it out too!!

Materials:

Crochet hook I used a 5mm crochet hook to make the pink hat. I am using a 4mm Crochet hook for the new one I'm making so there is a variation. Going by this pattern you will be using a 4mm crochet hook.

1 Skein of Yarn 260 yards 4 Ply lightweight, whatever color you want I am using acrylic Red Heart Super Saver (as I have an issue with wool)

Scissors (obviously to cut the yarn.)

Step 1: RUFFLY BEANIE PATTERN

1. Magic Circle 6 Single Crochets and close with a slip stitch (6 Total SCs)

2. 2 SCs per SC (12 Total SCs) Sl St ends together

3. 2SCs/Sc (24 Total SCs)

4. SC in each SC (24 Total SCs)

5. SC in each SC (24 Total SCs)

6. 2 SC/SC (50 Total SCs is what you want to end with) Stop 10 Shy of end or COUNT so you hit 50 SCs

7.SC/SC (50 Total SCs)

8. 2 SC/SC (90 Total SCs) Stop 10 Shy of end or COUNT so you get 90 SCs

9. SC/SC (90 Total SCs)

10. Double Crochet (90 Total DCs)

11. 2 SCs per 21 SCs, SC, SC, 2 SCs/21 SCs, 2 SCs, 2 SCs/21 SCs, 2 SCs, 2 SCs/21 SCs, 2 SCs (176 Total SCs)

18. 1 DSC, 5SCs Repeat over and over to the end -32 DSCs- (95 or 96 Total SCs)

19-20. SC/SC (95 or 96 Total SCs)

21. Double Crochet (95 or 96 Total DCs)

22-24. SC/SC (95 or 96 Total SCs)

25. Double Crochet (95 or 96 Total DCs)

26-28. SC/SC (95 or 96 Total SCs)

37. Finish the hat by Single Crocheting the edge one last time and closing off with a slip stitch, then slip stitch the slip stitch to secure it closed cut the end of the yarn and secure the knot. (or work your yarn into the hat.)
