This is an extremely simple crocheted pouch for your mobile or anything you want to put in it.

Step 1: Materials

You need
1. Silk Seica (length will depend upon the size of your pouch) I used light gold.
2. Steel crochet hook 1.5 mm
3. Two beads to match or contrast the thread.
4. fabric for lining (optional)

Step 2: The Base

Ch 10
Round 1 - sc in 2nd ch from the hook. Sc in next 7 ch. 2 sc in next ch. Working on opposite side of the foundation ch, sc in next 8 ch. Join with sl st to the sc in10th ch of foundation ch. (total 18 sc, counting the 10th ch as sc.)
Round 2 - Ch 1 (count as sc). Sc in sl st sp of previous round. Sc in next 7 sc. 2 sc each in next 2 sc. Sc in next 7 sc. 2sc in next sc. Join with sl st to the 1st ch of round 2. (total 22 sc)
Round 3 - Ch 1 (count as sc). Sc in st below. 2 sc in next sc. Sc in next 7 sc. 2 sc each in next 4 sc. Sc in next 7 sc. 2 sc each in next 2 sc. Join with sl st to the 1st ch of round 3. (total 30 sc.)
Round 4 - Ch 1 (count as sc). Sc in st below. 2 sc each in next 3 sc. Sc in next 7 sc. 2 sc each in next 8 sc. Sc in next 7 sc. 2 sc each in next 4 sc. Join with sl st to the 1st ch of round 4. (total 46 sc.)

Step 3: Body

Round 5 - Ch3 (count as dc). 2 dc inst below. [Sk 3 sc. 3 dc in next sc.] twice. [Sk 2 sc, 3 dc in next sc] thrice. [Sk 3 sc. 3 dc in next sc] thrice. [Sk 2 sc. 3 dc in next sc.] thrice. Sk 3 sc. 3 dc in next sc. Sk next 3 sc. Join with sl st to the 3rd ch of ch3 ch.
Round 6 - Ch 3 (count as dc). 2dc in sp between two 3dc groups of previous round. * 3 dc in next sp between two 3dc groups of previous round. Repeat from * around. Ending with sl st to the 3rd ch of the ch 3 ch.

Repeat round 6 for desired number of times to get required length of pouch.

Step 4: Edging

Next round (A) - Ch 3 (count as dc). Ch 1. *Sk next dc. ch 1. Dc in next dc. Repeat from * around. Ending with sl st in 3rd ch of ch3 ch.

Next Round - *In ch 1 sp work (1 sc, 1hdc, 1dc, 3tr, 1dc, 1hdc, 1sc). Work 1 sc in next sc 1 sp. Repeat from * around and fasten off.

Step 5: Handle

Make a ch of the length 2 inch greater than the opening of the pouch.
Work one sc in each ch.
(You can make this ch thick by working more rows of sc if needed.)

Now starting at middle of the opening of the pouch, insert the chain in round (A) in and out of this row.
pull the chain evenly.
Insert the beads at the ends of the chain and tie a knot.
