Introduction: Custom Car Horn
A Car horn that will play whatever custom sounds you want it too.
Supplies
Step 1: SoundBoard
First you need to take the soundboard out of the packaging as well as two of the 7 pin wires. There are 11 holes on the soundboard, numbered 0-10, as well as your ground. There are other holes, but these are the only ones we will be worrying about. Solder one wire from the 7 pin wires to each of the holes. You will not use them all.
Step 2: Buttons
Next you will get out your perf board. Attach the desired amount of buttons unto the board. Then, solder one wire from 0-10 to each of the buttons. You will also attach the ground wire to the first button, then you will go through and run a single ground through all of the buttons, creating one ground wire across the entire board.
Step 3: Sounds
You will then download the desired sounds. Once you have them, you will have to use an online converter to convert the sound files to .ogg. Then plug the soundboard into your computer with a micro usb cable. It will show up as if it was a flash drive. Put the sounds onto the board. You will then name them T00.ogg, T01.ogg, and so one, with each number representing the button it will be connected to.
Step 4: Wiring
Now plug the soundboard into the amplifier. Take a aux cable and split the wires inside of it, connecting the respective black, red, and white cables to the audio input cord going into the receiver board. This is what will supply the sound for the horn. Also split open a micro usb cable and connect it to the power on the receiver board. This will power the entire system.
Step 5: Horn
Now connect the horns wire to the left and right channels on the receiver board. You now have a completed car horn, feel free to go bother people in traffic.
