Introduction: Custom Comment Kisses

About: Architecture, Blacksmithing, Carpentry, Diesel Mechanics, Electronics... You get the point. My interests and skills cover from A to Z and back again. I hope to bring some of my knowledge to the table so others…

Need to randomly surprise the wife/girlfriend/significant other? I did. Here's how I did it.

Estimated time: 10 - 20 minutes
Estimated cost: $5

Step 1: Materials

You'll need at least:
1x scissors
1x pen
Hershey Kisses (how ever many you need plus extra)
Paper of your choice

optional upgrades:
craft paper cutter (stolen from wife)
printer (for those with bad hand writing)

Step 2: Write and Cut.

Write all the phrases down on the paper or print out the phrases.

Note: if you're writing it by hand make sure you use a pen that doesn't bleed and make sure the ink is dried before putting it with the chocolate.

Then cut them into strips. You can use the original strips from the Kisses as a guide.

Step 3: Unwrap the Kisses

Carefully unwrap the foil as to not tear it. Repeat as necessary.

Step 4: Add Custom Message and Rewrap.

Wrap the chocolate with the custom phrases ink side out.

Place in the center of the foil and wrap the foil around the chocolate.

Step 5: Finishing Touches

Once you wrap up all of the chocolates, you are done!

If you are feeling particularly crafty you can leave the end of a phrase or phrases out to let the intended individual know they are just for them.

Don't forget to make sure the Kisses stand out so they don't get overlooked.
