Introduction: Custom Ice Hanger for Mini Fan

Summer is rolling in soon right? Therefore, I wanted to think of an easy, quick, and chilly way to make my day a little bit more chilly. So I just hanged some ice on a stick and bam! It was easy, quick, and you can do it at home!

Ice

Step 1: Find That Perfect Stick

First, I had to find that perfect stick which will hold the base of this project. I went looking in my backyard and found a good stick to use, in which I then cut down with a knife.

Step 2: Pick the Leaves Off and Shred Off Additional Wood

Then, I had to get all those leaves that might blow in your face. They may be pretty, but I’m sure it won't be when it’s all up in your face! While picking the leafs off I cut off some additional wood that might be unnecessary for the final look.

Step 3: Find a Good Holder

I had to find some sort of string, or handle to hold the ball of ice. In which I did find, in this old lantern. I took off the handles with ease. And went to my desk to put them together.

Step 4: Tape the Stick and Handle Together

I put the handle on the stick and taped it together, but then added some glue so it wouldn’t move as much.

Step 5: Grab Some Ice and Wrap It Up

I got my ice and wrapped it into one ball. I layered another napkin below the one holding the ice so that I could tape it shut easier.

Step 6: Ice Stick

I poked some holes into the napkin with a pin and hanged the ice on the handle.

Step 7: Ice Fan!

Finally, I taped the new and improved Ice stick and tapped it to my mini fan, and voila! A beautiful creation to keep me cold during the hot summer. The picture may be inside, but I’m going to take it outside!
