Intro: Customizable Pop Up Holiday Card

You will need:

-Laser Cutter
-Cardstock (minimum 8.5"x11")
-Glue

STEP 1: Build Your Base

Begin by cutting out the "Card Template" file. Cut along the red lines, and very lightly etch the blue lines. The blue lines are not necessary to cut, but will provide you with guidelines for folding. This insert will be used to give your card the pop-up effect.

Fold along the lines so that your card is creased down the center. Fold the extra slits in the opposite direction to produce two 3D boxes.

Close the card and add glue to the back sides of the insert. Fold a second 8.5"x11" sheet of paper and center the insert inside. The insert will be smaller than the full sheet.

STEP 2: Decorate

Provided are different files to decorate your card. Laser cut pieces from cardstock. To create the pop up, choose your piece, and glue it to the front face of your rectangle. Wait until the glue dries to close the card.

The "Winter Scene" file is included and will make a completed card with two pieces. All other files are individual files that can be stacked and combined to make a customized card.
(.Ai files are all stacked within the same file. .SVG files will be in the "Decorations.zip" folder)

STEP 3: Gift

Gift and personalize your one of a kind creation.
