Cute Bow Tie

Here's a really easy way to make a cute bow out of ribbon! You can attach this bow to not just rings but hair clips, hair ties and jewellery as well.

Step 1: Materials

You will need:
• A piece of rather thick ribbon about three inches long
• Needle
• Thread
• A lighter (if you don't have one, you can use matches instead)
• A plain ring

Step 2:

Burn the ends of the ribbon with a lighter. If you don't have one, any kind of fire (or a lit match) will do. Try not to burn the ribbon or leave black marks on it.

Step 3:

Form a loop with the ribbon and hold down where the ends meet.

Step 4:

Use the needle and thread and sew down the middle of the (almost completed) bow. Pull it tight so the ribbon forms a bow shape.

Step 5:

Wind your leftover thread around the middle of the bow to create the bow shape.

Step 6:

Grab a new piece of thread and attach your bow to the ring. Tie the thread up on the inside of the ring.

Step 7: Done

You're finished! YAY! You can also make different sized or different coloured bows.
