MEDICATIE PLACEMATS en OPBERGSYSTEEM

Aanleiding van het ontwerp is een man van 21jaar die zelfstandig medicatie wil innemen tijdens de maaltijden. Omwille van aandachtproblematiek werd dit vaak vergeten.

Gewerkt wordt met visuele triggers.

Placemats op A2 formaat worden ontworpen a.d.h.v. het programma photoshop op maat van de cliënt.

De ontwerpen worden afgedrukt in een kopiecenter waar ze ook gelamineerd (glossy) worden, waardoor de placemats afwasbaar zijn. Kostprijs kost 10,45 EUR/placemat.

Interesses worden genomen als inspiratiebron. (Heidi, treinen, Dark Father, vliegtuigen) Genoteerd wordt hoeveel pillen per maaltijd ingenomen moeten worden bij de verschillende maaltijden. Centraal op de placemat worden er geen essentiële tekst of foto's geplaatst.

Om de aandacht te blijven houden, werd gekozen om verschillende placemats te ontwerpen zodat kan gewisseld worden, volgens de wens van de cliënt.

Als extra afwisseling wordt een placemat ontworpen met foto's of afbeeldingen die de cliënt zelf aanbrengt. Voordeel is dat hij nog meer betrokken wordt in het ontwerp, waardoor hij nog meer gemotiveerd is om de medicatie in te nemen.

Gezinsleden krijgen ook een placemat op maat volgens hun interesse (moeder: skiën, vader: karate, broer: schaken). Zo is de cliënt geen uitzondering met een medicatieplacemat en is het leggen van 4 placemats esthetischer op de keukentafel.

Placemats worden geplaatst op de keukentafel. Omwille van de grootte van deze placemats wordt een opbergsysteem ontworpen, zodat orde in de keuken gegarandeerd wordt. Deze opbergruimte bevindt zich aan de onderkant van het blad van de keukentafel. Een uitsparing wordt voorzien zodat de placemats gemakkelijk vastgenomen kunnen worden om deze uit of in te schuiven.

Ontwerp:

Het opbergsysteem wordt ontworpen met volgende afmetingen:

Buitenafmeting: breedte: 650mm; diepte 470mm; hoogte 40mm

Afmeting: uitsparing: breedte: 250mm; diepte 100mm

Dit wordt bevestigd horizontaal aan de onderkant van het tafelblad of verticaal tegen de muur.

The reason for the design was a 21-year-old man who wanted to take medication independently during meals. Because of attention problems this was often forgotten.

Placemats in A2 format are designed using the photoshop program to suit the client.

The designs are printed in a copy center where they are also laminated (glossy), making the placemats washable. Cost is 10.45 EUR/placemat.

Interests are taken as inspiration. (Heidi, trains, Dark Father, airplanes) Noted how many pills should be taken per meal at the different meals. No essential text or pictures are placed centrally on the placemat.

To maintain attention, it was chosen to design several placemats so that can be changed, according to the client's desire.

As an additional variation, a placemat is designed with photos or images that the client adds himself. The advantage is that he is even more involved in the design, which makes him even more motivated to take the medication.

Family members also get a customized placemat according to their interest (mother: skiing, father: karate, brother: chess). Thus, the client is not an exception with a medication placemat and laying 4 placemats is more aesthetically pleasing on the kitchen table.

Placemats are placed on the kitchen table. Because of the size of these placemats, a storage system is designed to ensure order in the kitchen. This storage space is located at the bottom of the top of the kitchen table. A recess is provided so that the placemats can be easily grasped to slide them out or in.

The storage system is designed with following dimensions:

Exterior dimension: width: 650mm; depth 470mm; height 40mm

Dimension: recess: width: 250mm; depth 100mm

This is attached horizontally to the underside of the table top or vertically to the wall.

Bevestiging met houtlijm :

->gezaagde houtplaten tov elkaar

-> afgewerkt stuk aan de onderkant van het keukentafelblad horizontaal of aan de zijkant van de keukenkast verticaal

Materiaal: hout multiplex dikte 5mm; kostprijs: 10.37euro voor gebruikt materiaal

Schuurpapier: om randen van gezaagde houtplaten te schuren

Spanvijzen/ plakband : bevestiging van de gezaagde houtplaten met houtlijm tijdens het drogen; andere mogelijkheid is om de planken te verbinden met houtlijm en plakband ipv spanvijzen

Lintzaag machine : om houtplaat te verzagen, uitsparing maken

Fastening with wood glue :

->sawn wood panels to each other

-> finished piece at the bottom of the kitchen table top horizontally or at the side of the kitchen cabinet vertically

Material: plywood thickness 5mm; cost: 10.37euro for used material

Sandpaper: to sand edges of sawn wood panels

Wood glue/adhesive tape: fix the sawn wood panels with wood glue while drying; other possibility is to connect the boards with wood glue and adhesive tape instead of screws

Step 1: Teken De Afmetingen

Werkwijze:

STAP 1

Teken de afmetingen over op het houten plaatmateriaal.

STEP 1

Trace the dimensions onto the wooden board.

Step 2: Zaag De Getekende Afmetingen

STAP2

Zaag de getekende afmetingen uit met de zaagmachines.

STEP 2

Cut out the drawn dimensions with the saws

Step 3: Schuur De Randen

STAP3

Schuur met schuurpapier de randen van de gezaagde houtplaten.

STEP 3

Using sandpaper, sand the edges of the sawn wood panels.

Step 4: Lijm De Houten Platen

STAP 4

Doe houtlijm op de zijden van de platen die elkaar raken.

Bevestig de spanvijzen of plakband en wacht tot de houtlijm droog is.

Apply wood glue to the sides of the boards touching each other.

Attach turnbuckles or tape and wait for the wood glue to dry.

Step 5: Bevestig Met Kleine Nageltjes

Bevestig de hout verbinding extra door kleine nageltjes in te slaan.

Fix the wood connection additionally by hammering small nails into it.

Step 6: Bevestig Het Opbergsysteem

Bevestig het opbergsysteem horizontaal aan de onderkant van de keukentafel of bevestig het opbergsysteem verticaal tegen de muur zodat de bovenkant op heuphoogte komt van de klant.
